OTHERS STUPIDITY WRECKS BOTH CAR AND WEEKEND

With a new sponsor onboard in STR Truck Bodies everyone at Action Racing was looking forward to closing off the 2011 Fujitsu season on a high note. After a strong practice and qualifying performance in at the Sydney Olympic Park circuit, it all turned sour, none of which was of Marcus' fault.

Exiting cleanly exiting turn one in the first race, Tony Bates went for a non-existant gap, tagging Rodney Jane's Falcon. This turned Jane right into the Action Racing Commodore and into the concrete wall only to be shot across the track hitting the left hand site very hard. The extensive damage and repair bill put paid to the weekend with the ex V8 Ute Champion retiring on the spot. VIEW GALLERY
